About MMS

Built by people who have run healthcare organizations, not just studied them.

MMS Healthcare Consultancy was founded on a simple belief: the best advice comes from people who have carried the pager, closed the budget gap and sat across from a state surveyor themselves.

Our Story

Founded from frustration with generic consulting.

MMS was started by a small group of hospital administrators and public health leaders who kept encountering the same problem: outside consultants who understood frameworks, but not the realities of running a unit at 2 a.m. on a holiday weekend.

What began as informal advisory work for a handful of regional hospitals has grown into a dedicated consultancy serving health systems, payers and public health agencies — while keeping the same principle at the center: recommendations have to survive contact with the floor, not just the boardroom.

"We don't hand over a report and disappear. We stay until the plan is actually running." — Founding Partner, MMS Healthcare Consultancy

What We Value

The principles behind every engagement.

01

Operator's judgment

Every lead consultant has held an operating role in healthcare — hospital administration, clinical leadership or public health. We advise from experience, not just analysis.

02

Plans that survive Monday morning

A recommendation is only useful if the people executing it can actually carry it out with the staff and budget they have.

03

Transparent, fixed-scope pricing

No open-ended hourly billing. You know the scope and the investment before the engagement begins.

04

We stay through implementation

We measure our own success by whether the plan is still running six months after the engagement ends.

Leadership

The team leading your engagement.

A senior, hands-on team — every engagement is led by a partner with direct healthcare operating experience.
